Water Surface Seamless Pattern
As a free and natural balm to human stress, water has long imbued our senses, inspired awe and wonder, and reminds us of the beauty and calm of our planet. Near the water, auditory, visual and somatic processing slows down. It is a form of self care many seek in all its forms — a warm bath, a seaside walk, watching the rain fall or splashing in the river or lake. This beautiful water surface pattern evokes all of these feelings of calmness, serenity and relaxation.
I illustrated this pattern myself in Procreate. It is a bespoke, unique piece.
This is a repeating, tileable pattern swatch suitable for all types of products—fabric, products and digital use.

- Original size is 240mm x 240mm at 300dpi (2850px x 2850px at 300dpi)
- You get 1 x flattened JPEG, 1 x flattened PDF (raster), 1 x flattened TIFF, 1 x 2-layer PSD (flattened design with plain colour layer underneath in case of any hairline issues), plus:
- Photoshop .pat Pattern file
- File size: all in one ZIP file (58.7MB)
- Compatible with Adobe Photoshop, or the JPEG is universally compatible with any graphic software
Photoshop .pat (pattern) file is included. Just import it into your patterns palette and fill your document with ease!
To use the Photoshop pattern file:
Prepare your document in Adobe Photoshop. Make sure you have the Window Patterns palette visible. In the little hamburger menu on the Patterns palette, select Import Patterns … Choose your water surface .pat file, click Open. Go to Edit > Fill Pattern and select the water surface pattern. Adjust any settings to your preferences, then click OK.
